Procurement & Sourcing Handle procurement of raw materials, electrical/mechanical components, fabrication items, bought-out parts, consumables, and services.
Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for manufacturing requirements.Obtain quotations, compare prices, and finalize purchase orders after negotiation.
Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays. Vendor Management Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Conduct vendor evaluation and performance monitoring based on quality, delivery, and pricing.
Develop alternate vendors for critical materials. Cost Control & Negotiation Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual rate contracts.Work on cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations. Inventory Coordination Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, and Quality departments for material requirements.
Maintain optimum inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory items.
Documentation & Compliance Prepare and process purchase orders, agreements, and procurement records.Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and audit requirements.
Maintain accurate procurement MIS reports and records. Coordination Coordinate with Accounts for supplier payments and reconciliation.Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and issue resolution.
Support production planning through effective material availability management. Required Skills Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Knowledge of manufacturing materials and supply chain processes.
Understanding of ERP systems and MS Office.Good communication and coordination abilities.Analytical and cost-control mindset.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Knowledge BOM (Bill of Materials) understanding.Knowledge of ISO/IMS documentation systems.
Experience in local and imported procurement. Understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
