Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Logistics Manager to manage and oversee the company’s logistics and supply chain operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation, warehouse operations, dispatches, deliveries, and documentation to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics and transportation operations.
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
- Plan and monitor timely dispatch and delivery of materials.
- Manage logistics costs and negotiate with transport vendors.
- Ensure proper documentation for dispatch, transportation, and delivery.
- Track shipments and resolve any transportation or delivery-related issues.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, and Accounts teams.
- Maintain logistics reports and records.
- Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or warehouse management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Experience in the timber, building materials, trading, or related industry will be preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
