Siate Felici School is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and student-centred Global Perspectives & Social Studies Teacher for Grades 4, 5, and 6. The ideal candidate will inspire inquiry, critical thinking, global awareness, and meaningful classroom discussions while creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Global Perspectives and Social Studies aligned with international curriculum standards.
- Foster inquiry-based learning, research skills, collaboration, and independent thinking among students.
- Encourage students to explore local and global issues through discussions, projects, presentations, and real-world connections.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support student growth.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school leadership.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Participate actively in school events, exhibitions, professional development programmes, and collaborative planning meetings.
- Contribute positively to the school culture and uphold the values and ethos of Siate Felici School.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Grades 4–6.
- Experience in Cambridge, IB, or other international curricula will be highly preferred.
