We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Multi Boring Machine Operator to join our modular furniture manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining multi boring machines used in the production of furniture components. The operator will ensure accuracy, quality, and productivity while adhering to safety and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate multi boring machines for drilling and boring furniture panels and components according to production drawings and specifications.
- Set up machine parameters, tooling, jigs, and fixtures for different product requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
- Verify dimensions and hole patterns using measuring instruments and quality control procedures.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions, tooling issues, or quality deviations.
- Ensure efficient material handling and minimize material wastage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and other production personnel to meet production targets.
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating multi boring machines, preferably in the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
