We are expanding an AWS cloud-native cash management platform and seek a Lead Business Analyst - Payments with Treasury to drive requirements definition. You will collaborate with stakeholders, operations, product owners, architects, developers, and testers to specify cash-management workflows, business rules, data requirements, integrations, exceptions, and acceptance criteria. Responsibilities

Identify and analyze business requirements for the cash management platform

Map current-state and target-state business processes
-
Define requirements for cash movement, matching and allocation, reconciliation, accounting, rules processing, reporting, and audit
-
Produce functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria from business needs

Outline transaction states, processing sequences, decision points, exceptions, and manual interventions
-
Refine business rules for matching, allocation, adjustment, reversal, cancellation, rejection, and reprocessing
-
Specify requirements for REST APIs, Kafka events, messages, managed files, and external-system integrations
-
Build documentation for source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules
-
Define required business identifiers, reference data, statuses, timestamps, and audit information
-
Align with stakeholders to identify authoritative data sources and system ownership
-
Develop reconciliation rules, tolerances, exception categories, and resolution workflows
-
Run requirement workshops, manage requirement changes, and support user acceptance testing, release readiness, and defect analysis
Requirements
-
Overall IT experience of 10-14 years
-
At least 7+ years working as a Business Analyst on complex software or enterprise-platform programs
-
Experience defining requirements for financial, transactional, or integration-heavy systems
-
Capability to write functional requirements, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria
-
Expert knowledge of process flows, data mappings, state models, and integration requirements
-
Ability to analyze asynchronous and multi-system business processes
-
Understanding of REST APIs, events, messages, databases, and file-based integrations
-
Experience supporting Agile software-development teams
-
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, architects, developers, testers, and operations teams
-
Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
-
Ability to detect gaps, contradictions, and ambiguities in business requirements
Nice to have
-
Background in cash management, treasury, payments, reconciliation, accounting, billing, or banking platforms

Understanding of transaction lifecycle, settlement, allocation, posting, adjustment, and exception-management processes

Experience defining financial reconciliation rules and operational controls
-
Familiarity with Kafka, event-driven systems, JSON, XML, CSV, API specifications, and event schemas
-
Skills in SQL for data analysis and requirement validation
-
Experience with data lineage, audit trails, and regulatory or control requirements in regulated financial-services environments

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, process modeling and API documentation tools
