Primary responsibility would be to manage EOU compliance activities at the client location Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHAs), customs authorities, and other functional teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Reviewing import documentation and coordinating customs clearance with CHAs.
- Providing customs clearance instructions and resolving clearance-related issues.
- Monitoring HS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin compliance.
- Communicating with customs authorities, logistics providers, carriers, vendors, and internal departments on import and export matters.
- Maintaining trade compliance records and documentation.
- Reviewing export transactions for export control and sanctions compliance.
- Ensuring timely review and assessment of import/export records.
