We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, execution, supervision, and maintenance of various STP projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles applied to wastewater treatment infrastructure and a proven track record in managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- Lead and manage the civil engineering aspects of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects, including design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Develop detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil structures within STPs, such as aeration tanks, clarifiers, sludge drying beds, pump houses, and administrative buildings.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges or risks.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, cost estimates, and tender documents for civil works related to STP projects.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality control standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and architects, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Review and approve contractor submittals, including method statements, material approvals, and work schedules.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures for all civil works.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and design discrepancies that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and updated throughout the project duration.
- Adhere to local and national environmental regulations and standards pertinent to sewage treatment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.
