About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Community Growth & Engagement Manager to lead the strategy, growth, engagement, partnerships, and automation of our digital communities.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who has successfully built and scaled online communities and has a strong understanding of EdTech and online learning ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have experience engaging diverse audiences across different markets, creating meaningful learner experiences, and driving community-led growth through data, partnerships, and automation.
Success in this role means building highly engaged communities, increasing member acquisition and retention, developing strategic partnerships, improving community-to-course conversions, and creating scalable systems that support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and scale online communities across Discord, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Groups, Reddit, Skool, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase member acquisition, engagement, retention, and referrals.
- Create and manage webinars, challenges, competitions, AMAs, mentorship initiatives, and community engagement campaigns.
- Design and implement ambassador and referral programs.
- Own the community newsletter strategy, including learning digests, success stories, and engagement campaigns.
- Implement onboarding, nurturing, and engagement automation using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Build partnerships with creators, educators, universities, industry experts, gaming communities, and technology communities.
- Monitor community growth, engagement, retention, and conversion metrics and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in Community Management, Community Growth, Digital Engagement, EdTech, SaaS, Creator Economy, or Online Learning Ecosystems.
- Proven success in building and scaling online communities with 10,000+ members.
- Strong preference for candidates with EdTech experience and exposure to international audiences or multi-market digital ecosystems.
- Experience with Discord, Skool, Circle, Mighty Networks, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn Communities, or similar platforms.
- Strong experience with newsletters, email marketing, and community communications.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, Beehiiv, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced environment.
