The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets. The role focuses on expanding market presence, increasing customer satisfaction, and ensuring sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with production, planning, purchase, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic MIS reports.
- Review sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical business practices.

Experience
- 8–15 years of sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, machine shop, tooling, cutting tools, industrial products, or automotive components is preferred.
