Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between IT company clients, enterprise customers, product leadership, and engineering teams. This role owns end-to-end requirements management for ERP modules, drives process optimization, and ensures ERP solutions align with business objectives, scalability needs, and industry best practices. The role also involves exposure to emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end requirement gathering with senior stakeholders across key enterprise and IT business functions including Finance, HRMS, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Sales, and Project Management.
- Own and govern business and functional documentation including BRDs, FRDs, SRS, workflows, SOPs, RTMs, and functional specifications, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.
- Translate complex business processes into scalable ERP configurations, customizations, and system integrations.
- Identify functional gaps between standard ERP capabilities and business requirements; recommend process re-engineering, configuration, or custom solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, and Engineering teams to validate solution design, user flows, screens, and functional behaviour.
- Support pre-sales activities such as solution demonstrations, requirement assessments, and proposal inputs for IT clients.
- Provide functional leadership to implementation teams, ensuring accurate understanding and execution of business workflows and configurations.
- Review and validate delivered functionality against approved requirements and expected business outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
- Act as the functional escalation point for IT clients and internal product teams.
Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in ERP functional modules with solid understanding of cross-module dependencies.
- Proven experience working with IT company clients in ERP environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Jira AI or similar AI-powered BA tools.
- Experience with Document360.
- Familiarity with Intercom and Fin AI.
- Exposure to AI tools for documentation and process automation.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
