Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized U.S. Employment-Based Immigration
Paralegal to support attorneys in preparing and managing a broad range of employment-based
immigration matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling both nonimmigrant and
immigrant visa petitions, including PERM-based and self-petition categories such as EB-2
National Interest Waiver (NIW) and EB-1A Extraordinary Ability. This role requires strong
organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple
cases in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file employment-based immigrant petitions, including:
o PERM Labor Certification
o I-140 Petitions (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3)
o EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions
o EB-1A Extraordinary Ability petitions
o I-485 Adjustment of Status applications
o Employment Authorization Documents (EAD)
o Advance Parole applications
o Consular processing documentation, as applicable
Draft attorney support letters, petition letters, legal correspondence, forms, and filing
packages.
Assist attorneys in developing case strategies for NIW and EB-1A petitions by organizing
evidence, reviewing client credentials, and preparing detailed exhibits.
Collect, organize, and analyze supporting documentation, including academic records,
employment verification letters, publications, citations, awards, recommendation
letters, and evidence of professional accomplishments.
Prepare exhibit lists and compile comprehensive petition packages for submission to
USCIS.
Track case deadlines, expiration dates, government processing times, and filing
requirements.
Communicate with corporate clients, individual beneficiaries, and foreign nationals
regarding case status, document requests, and procedural updates.
Maintain accurate case records using immigration case management software.
Coordinate filings with USCIS, the Department of Labor (DOL), the Department of State
(DOS), and other government agencies.
Assist attorneys in responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny
(NOIDs), and audits.
Conduct legal and factual research under attorney supervision.
Ensure compliance with applicable immigration laws, regulations, and firm procedures.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
2–5 years of experience in U.S. employment-based immigration law.
Demonstrated experience preparing:
o H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, and other employment-based nonimmigrant petitions
o PERM Labor Certifications
o I-140 immigrant petitions
o EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions
o EB-1A Extraordinary Ability petitions
o Adjustment of Status (I-485) applications
Strong understanding of USCIS, Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of State
(DOS) procedures.
Experience organizing complex evidence for NIW and EB-1A petitions, including
recommendation letters, publications, citations, awards, media coverage, memberships,
patents, presentations, and other supporting documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and immigration case management software (e.g.,
INSZoom, LawLogix, Docketwise, Tracker, or similar).
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
