Role description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Denodo Administrator to manage and support the Denodo Data Virtualization platform across enterprise environments. The role includes platform administration, performance optimization, security, upgrades, environment migrations, and legacy system decommissioning, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business impact.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Denodo Data Virtualization Platform (7.x / 8.x).
- Proven experience in Denodo migration and environment decommissioning.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of RDBMS concepts.
- Experience with JVM tuning and application server configurations.
- Knowledge of LDAP/AD integration and enterprise security principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Denodo Platform (VDP, Scheduler, Data Catalog, Solution Manager)
- JDBC / ODBC / REST data sources
- CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps - preferred)
- Monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus - preferred)
Nice to Have
- Denodo Administrator or Developer Certification.
- Experience with cloud migration programs and legacy technology retirement.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and lineage tools.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise data platforms.
