Job Description: Academic Counselor – EdTech Sales
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Working Days : Monday – Saturday
Working Hours : 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Academic Counselor with 1+ year of experience to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will guide prospective students on career pathways, consult them on appropriate learning programs, and manage the end-to-end enrollment process to achieve monthly admissions targets.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and professionals regarding course curricula, learning outcomes, and career prospects.
Handle inbound inquiries and leads to convert them into successful enrollments.
Conduct detailed interactive counseling sessions and course presentations.
Guide applicants seamlessly through the admission and onboarding journey.
Maintain complete and accurate student records using CRM systems.
Track daily sales metrics, pipeline status, and meet individual and team targets.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high candidate satisfaction.
Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in EdTech sales, admissions counseling, or direct sales.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
Sales Aptitude: Proven interpersonal, active listening, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with MS Office tools and modern CRM systems.
Mindset: Highly target-oriented, proactive, and resilient under performance metrics.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
