Role Overview
We are looking for a Billing engineer who can prepare Bill of Quantities, Rate Analysis, Site Meaurement and Final Billing.
This is a control-oriented role, responsible for ensuring that materials are available on time, at the right cost, and with clear coordination between design and site teams.

Billing Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities
1. Quantity Measurement & Billing
- Prepare and verify quantities from drawings, BOQs and actual site measurements.
- Prepare client RA bills (Running Account Bills) based on completed work.
- Check and certify contractor/subcontractor bills against actual work executed.
- Maintain measurement sheets and supporting documentation for every bill.
- Prepare reconciliation between BOQ quantities, billed quantities and executed quantities.
2. BOQ & Costing
- Prepare detailed BOQs from architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Update BOQs whenever drawings, specifications or scope change.
- Prepare rate analysis for non-BOQ/extra items.
- Obtain and maintain supporting quotations and market rates where required.
- Track variation quantities and additional works separately.
3. Project Cost Control
- Maintain Budget vs. BOQ vs. Ordered vs. Billed vs. Paid cost statements.
- Update projected final project cost periodically.
- Identify quantity overruns and cost deviations early.
- Highlight items likely to exceed sanctioned budgets before execution wherever possible.
- Prepare project-wise monthly cost summaries for management.
4. Contractor & Vendor Coordination
- Check contractor measurements jointly with the site/project engineer.
- Verify work orders, rates, quantities, deductions, advances and retention before certification.
- Maintain records of contractor advances, recoveries, retention and previous payments.
- Coordinate with contractors to resolve billing discrepancies.
5. Client Billing
- Prepare professional client bills with all required supporting documents.
- Maintain records of bills submitted, certified and paid.
- Follow up on pending certification/payment with the project team.
- Maintain project-wise billing and outstanding statements.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain organized records of BOQs, work orders, measurements, bills, variations and approvals.
- Ensure that every billed quantity is traceable to drawings/site measurements.
- Prepare weekly/monthly billing and cost reports.
- Maintain proper revision control so outdated BOQs or drawings are not used for billing.
Key responsibility: The Billing Engineer should ensure that we bill the client correctly, pay contractors correctly, and always know the current financial position of each project.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
