System Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented System Engineer to join our Technical Support Group in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of systems, networks, and hardware across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor installed systems, servers, and IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, software, and system management tools.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, network devices, and related peripherals.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain system security, backups, and data recovery processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve IT-related requests and incidents.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
- Ensure timely system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and system administration.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts.
- Experience with hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and network security is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in System Engineering, IT Support, Desktop Support, or System Administration.
