Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Chinese Cuisine Chef to join our kitchen team. The role requires hands-on execution, consistency in flavor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes including wok-based items, sauces, and accompaniments
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain proper mise en place for smooth kitchen operations
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute to team coordination
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen discipline at all times
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Assist in managing prep, stock, and inventory
Requirements
- 2–5years of experience in Chinese cuisine
- Strong understanding of wok cooking and basic Chinese techniques
- Knowledge of sauces, gravies, and preparation methods
- Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment
- Discipline, speed, and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt
