Job Summary
The CCTV Supervisor is responsible for supervising the CCTV Control Room operations, monitoring surveillance systems, ensuring the safety and security of the mall, tenants, customers, and employees, and coordinating with the security team during incidents. The role also ensures that all CCTV equipment is functioning effectively and that surveillance records are maintained in accordance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the CCTV Control Room and CCTV operators.
- Monitor live CCTV feeds to detect theft, suspicious activities, emergencies, and safety violations.
- Coordinate with Security Officers for immediate response to incidents.
- Review recorded footage for investigations and incident analysis.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly CCTV reports.
- Maintain incident logs and evidence records.
- Ensure all CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and monitoring systems are operational.
- Report equipment faults and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with mall security SOPs and surveillance policies.
- Support law enforcement by providing CCTV footage when authorized.
- Train CCTV operators on surveillance procedures and emergency response.
- Maintain confidentiality of surveillance footage and sensitive information.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- CCTV/Control Room or Security certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in CCTV operations or security.
- Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in shopping malls, commercial buildings, airports, hospitals, or large facilities is preferred.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of CCTV systems (IP Cameras, DVR/NVR, Video Management Systems).
- Leadership and team management.
- Incident handling and investigation.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
- Strong observation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
