Navdeep Today is looking for a fast, creative, and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic newsroom. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily broadcast and digital output—transforming raw footage, reporter dispatches, and archival media into engaging, high-impact news segments, YouTube packages, and short-form social media content (Shorts/Reels).
The ideal candidate understands the urgency of a 24X7 digital news cycle, possesses excellent editorial judgment, and can maintain a cool head while cutting breaking news packages under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Fast-Paced Editing: Edit daily news packages, crime reports, political deep-dives, and regional updates utilizing raw footage, voiceovers (VO), and agency feeds.
Breaking News Handling: Turn around breaking news clips rapidly for our YouTube channel and digital platforms without sacrificing factual accuracy or technical quality.
Visual Storytelling: Enhance news videos with clean cuts, smooth transitions, relevant B-roll insertion, and appropriate pacing that keeps the audience hooked.
Motion Graphics & Packaging: Create and apply lower-thirds, tickers, map graphics, text-on-screen animations, and thumbnails that match Navdeep Today's branding guidelines.
Audio Enhancement: Clean up field recordings, balance dialogue tracks, remove background noise, and sync multi-channel audio/voiceovers seamlessly.
Multi-Platform Optimization: Re-purpose long-form news bulletins into high-engagement short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) with engaging on-screen captions
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
