Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated QA & QC Engineer to support our Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions at Hawa Valves, Rabale. The role involves executing inspection, testing, and documentation activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
o Assist in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).
o Ensure compliance with ISO, API, ASME, and other relevant standards.
o Support internal audits and maintain quality records.
o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure vendor quality compliance.
o Carry out inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished valves.
o Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test certificates, and related documentation.
o Ensure calibration of instruments and adherence to testing protocols.
o Report non-conformities and support corrective/preventive actions.
o Work closely with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
o Assist during customer audits and third-party inspections.
o Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in QA/QC within valves or heavy engineering industries.
- Knowledge of valve standards (API, ASME, BS, ISO) and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with QMS tools, documentation, and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
