We are seeking an experienced Steel Detailer who can act as a senior figure within the design team. You will be under the Structural design team; detailing the Steel structures related to Building Service in accordance with applicable standards and contract requirements, using relevant Design software like TEKLA.

Job description of Tekla Detailer-Building services
- Prepare steel erection plans as well as detailing individual structural steel members
- Check 3D models, GA/erection drawings and fabrication drawings, ensuring there are zero errors
- Check the connection possibilities and feasibility as per the standards
- Prepare steel shop drawings for miscellaneous steel.ü Knowledge of shop and erection process.ü Experienced in connection detailing.
- Maintain a current working knowledge/understanding of the latest version of the AISC/BS & EN code relates to connection design, detailing practices & general steel properties.
- Reviews contract documents to learn the project scope of work and requirements. Identify all potential areas of concern to your senior detailer or manager so they may be addressed and resolved quickly.
- Create structural & miscellaneous models (model & connect) to develop shop drawings for use by the client for fabrication of the individual pieces of steel.
- Creates erection drawings to be used by the steel fabricator and erector to assemble the steel structure in the field.
- Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes and other revisions into the scope of the project.
- Check 3D models, GA/erection drawings and fabrication drawings, ensuring there are zero errors
- Check the connection possibilities and feasibility as per the standards
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Candidate should have good communication skills.
- Education - Diploma or BE in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in steel detailing / Modeling/checker in Tekla Structures with Standards – US/UK (AISC, OSHA)
- Candidate with overall experience in working with structural steel Industry are preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹63,295.95 per month
