Job Title: MEP Engineer
Role Objective
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves ensuring timely project delivery, quality compliance, cost control, safety adherence, and effective coordination among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover of all MEP services.
- Oversee the installation and integration of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and ELV systems in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications, identify design conflicts, and facilitate timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor site activities, supervise contractor performance, and ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Support design optimization and value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate material approvals, procurement schedules, and vendor deliveries to avoid project delays.
- Track material utilization and support project cost monitoring and budget control activities.
- Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance checks for all MEP installations.
- Prepare and monitor snag lists, ensuring timely rectification and closure of observations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, local authority regulations, and approval processes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and technical reports throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and provide updates on project milestones, risks, and performance.
- Support project close-out activities, including preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, final documentation, and post-handover assistance.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in project coordination, contractor management, and site execution.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
