About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Purchase Manager to lead our procurement function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective, timely supply of goods while upholding quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with company objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders through to delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to prevent stockouts
- Liaise with Sales, Accounts, Operations, and Warehouse teams for demand planning
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; conduct periodic performance reviews
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve supply chain bottlenecks
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and identify cost-reduction opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate MIS reports for management
- Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies and SOPs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in purchasing/procurement.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills
- Hands-on experience with inventory management and procurement software
- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
