A. Procurement & Sourcing:- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted production. Source and procure raw materials such as molasses, grain, chemicals, enzymes, yeast, denaturants, and other process inputs. Purchase packaging materials, engineering spares, electrical and mechanical items, laboratory consumables, and maintenance materials. Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to improve quality, pricing, and supply reliability. Obtain quotations, conduct comparative analyses, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
B. Vendor Management:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and service. Conduct periodic vendor assessments and support vendor development initiatives. Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns and delivery delays.
C. Inventory & Cost Control:- Coordinate with stores and production departments to maintain optimum inventory levels. Prevent stock shortages and minimize excess or obsolete inventory. Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare procurement budgets and monitor purchase expenses.
D. Coordination & Operations:- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Finance, and Stores for procurement planning. Ensure timely availability of materials required for plant operations and maintenance shutdowns. Track purchase orders and expedite deliveries when necessary.
E. Compliance & Documentation:- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable statutory requirements. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, vendor documentation, and purchase orders. Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification and vendor payment processing. Support internal and external audits by providing procurement-related documentation.
F. MIS & Reporting :- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports. Analyze purchase trends, supplier performance, inventory levels, and cost-saving initiatives. Present procurement performance reports to management.
Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
