Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and ageing reports.
- Follow up with customers for timely payment collection.
- Maintain and update customer receivable records.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly collection and outstanding reports.
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, and Operations teams regarding customer payments.
- Review customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Identify overdue accounts and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Resolve customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account statements.
- Send payment reminders and collection follow-up communications.
- Reconcile customer accounts and identify payment discrepancies.
- Track DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve collection efficiency.
- Escalate long-pending and high-value outstanding amounts to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of collection activities.
- Assist in credit risk assessment and customer account reviews.
- Support month-end closing and receivables-related activities.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Credit Control.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Ability to prepare and analyze ageing reports.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple customer accounts independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- M.Com / MBA Finance will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
