Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities at project sites, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating with contractors, supervisors, consultants, and project stakeholders to maintain quality standards and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor construction activities on-site.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
Ensure work is executed according to approved designs and quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.
Verify quantities and assist in material planning and procurement.
Maintain site documentation, records, and reports.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on site activities.
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and project milestones.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in construction site supervision and project execution.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
