Job Title: Academic Counselor / Admissions CounselorJob Summary
ZICA and ZIMA, part of the Zee Learn group, are looking for an enthusiastic, target-oriented, and highly motivated Academic Counselor to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for aspiring creative professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to guide students through our specialized programs in Animation, Visual Effects, Film Making, and Multimedia, helping them map their career goals to our curriculum and driving admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Engagement: Counsel walk-in leads, telephone inquiries, and online leads about ZICA/ZIMA courses, admission processes, and career prospects in the creative industry.
- Admissions Management: Manage the entire enrollment cycle—from initial inquiry to student conversion and fee collection.
- Career Guidance: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand student interests and recommend the right certification or diploma programs.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized database of prospects, conduct timely follow-ups, and update CRM records daily.
- Target Achievement: Work towards achieving individual and branch-level admission targets.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with faculty and the marketing team to organize workshops, open days, and student events to boost brand awareness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in educational counseling, admissions, or high-touch sales (experience in the creative/vocational training sector is a plus).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with students and parents.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with CRM tools.
- Attitude: Results-driven, patient, and highly organized with a passion for helping students succeed in creative fields.
