Job Summary: We are looking for an IT Executive to oversee and maintain our organization’s technological infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and improving the company's IT systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure. The IT Executive will collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT solutions align with business needs and contribute to organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware systems. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
Technical Support: Provide IT support for staff and users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues. Support employees in using company tools, applications, and platforms effectively.
Network Administration: Administer and monitor local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud systems. Manage network security, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and encryption tools. Ensure seamless communication and data exchange across departments through reliable network connections.
Backup and Data Recovery: Implement and maintain data backup procedures to ensure the integrity and security of company data. Participate in disaster recovery plans and assist in data recovery operations if required.
Security and Compliance: Monitor system security and data integrity. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal security policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with security software and protocols, including firewalls and antivirus tools.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
