Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English & Social Studies (SST) Teacher for Grades 8 to 10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment aligned with CBSE and ICSE curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English and Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects) to students of Grades 8–10.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans in accordance with CBSE and ICSE guidelines.
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor student performance through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.
- Develop innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding and participation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student development effectively.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and educational best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, History, Geography, Political Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience for Grades 8–10.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE and ICSE curriculum and examination patterns.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching both English and Social Studies subjects.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
