Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation compliance, and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, financial analysis, and ERP/accounting software, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and accounting records.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis reports for management.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government authorities.
- Verify and process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Manage fixed assets register and depreciation accounting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support project accounting and cost control activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA Finance preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Infrastructure, Mining, Solar EPC, Construction, or Manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of project accounting and contract billing.
- Experience handling audits and financial due diligence.
