Provis Technologies is hiring a Business Development Associate – Upwork Bidding & Proposal Writing for our Jaipur office.
This role is focused on finding relevant IT projects on Upwork and similar freelance platforms, understanding client requirements, writing customized proposals, submitting bids, following up with prospects, and maintaining proper bidding records.
The ideal candidate should be serious, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve proposal quality, research clients, and speed up daily bidding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and identify relevant IT projects on Upwork and similar freelance platforms.
- Review project descriptions carefully and understand client requirements.
- Shortlist projects that match Provis Technologies’ services, including website development, web applications, SaaS development, eCommerce development, automation, AI solutions, and custom software development.
- Write clear, customized, and professional Upwork proposals for relevant projects.
- Avoid generic copy-paste proposals and create proposals based on the client’s actual requirement.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand scope, timeline, and estimation inputs when required.
- Submit proposals on Upwork with proper structure, relevant questions, and strong positioning.
- Track submitted proposals, responses, follow-ups, and client communication status.
- Follow up with interested prospects professionally.
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude for proposal drafting, requirement understanding, project research, and proposal improvement.
- Research client profiles, company websites, business type, and project relevance before submitting proposals.
- Maintain proposal records, bidding tracker, response status, follow-up status, and notes in Google Sheets or CRM tools.
- Support the sales team with clean, accurate, and useful bidding data.
- Share daily bidding summary before EOD.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Upwork bidding, online bidding, IT sales support, proposal writing, business development, or lead generation.
- Experience with Upwork bidding is strongly preferred.
- Good written communication skills in English.
- Ability to write personalized, clear, and professional proposals.
- Basic understanding of IT services such as website development, web applications, mobile apps, SaaS products, eCommerce platforms, automation, AI solutions, and cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to understand project requirements and convert them into strong proposals.
- Ability to ask the right clarification questions before submitting proposals.
- Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools for proposal writing and sales support.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, email, WhatsApp, CRM tools, and online research.
- Organized, detail-oriented, target-focused, and consistent with daily bidding work.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Upwork proposal writing and bidding.
- Experience bidding for website development, Laravel, WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, SaaS, automation, AI, or custom software projects.
- Experience researching client profiles before sending proposals.
- Ability to coordinate with technical teams for project estimation.
- Understanding of hourly and fixed-price project bidding.
- Ability to maintain a clean bidding tracker and follow-up system.
- Experience with Freelancer, LinkedIn outreach, email outreach, or other lead generation platforms is a plus.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
