Urgent opening for the Senior Warehouse Executive- Solar company with Good salary
Location: Near Hopes, Coimbatore
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Manage daily warehouse activities including material receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure materials are stored systematically with proper identification and location tagging.
- Monitor inward and outward movement of materials.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production, projects, sales, and service requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of solar products, electrical materials, accessories, and other inventory.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate physical and system stock records.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verification.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies, shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase/SCM teams for replenishment.
- Reduce inventory losses, damages, and material misplacement.
Documentation & System Management
- Prepare and maintain GRN, delivery challans, material issue notes, stock transfer notes, and dispatch documents.
- Update inventory transactions accurately in ERP/software.
- Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports.
- Maintain records of damaged, rejected, returned, and replacement materials.
Team & Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, helpers, and loading/unloading personnel.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team productivity.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Projects, Service, Accounts, and Logistics departments for material requirements.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Ensure materials are dispatched according to approved requirements and documentation.
Control & Compliance
- Ensure warehouse processes are followed as per company SOPs.
- Maintain proper stock accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure safe loading, unloading, stacking, and material handling.
- Monitor warehouse security and restrict unauthorized material movement.
- Support internal and external stock audits.
- Take corrective action for inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant warehouse/stores experience.
- Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience handling ERP / inventory management software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and warehouse documentation.
- Strong team-handling and coordination skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in the solar, electrical, manufacturing, engineering, or trading industry will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidates
- Candidates with experience in Solar / Electrical / Manufacturing / Engineering / Warehouse & Distribution industries preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Candidates with strong inventory and team-management experience will be given preference.
