Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to promote the health and well-being of students and staff. The ideal candidate will provide first aid, manage health records, respond to medical emergencies, and support a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate care for injuries and illnesses occurring during school hours
- Administer medications as per prescribed guidelines and parental consent
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies)
- Conduct regular health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.)
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate with healthcare providers when necessary
- Educate students and staff on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and school safety policies
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the medical room
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or equivalent
- Valid nursing license/registration
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical or pediatric experience preferred
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
