The ideal candidate doesn’t just teach formulas; they inspire students to understand the fundamental laws of the universe, from the behavior of subatomic particles to the mechanics of celestial bodies.
Your goal is to foster a classroom environment where critical thinking is the default and "how things work" is the constant pursuit.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cover core physics concepts, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, optics, and quantum physics.
- Laboratory Management: Lead hands-on experiments that bridge the gap between theoretical math and physical reality. Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles, ensuring that both struggling students and advanced learners are challenged and supported.
- Assessment & Feedback: Create rigorous assessments to track student progress. Provide timely, constructive feedback that encourages growth and deeper inquiry.
- STEM Integration: Collaborate with the broader Science and Math departments to create interdisciplinary projects and promote STEM initiatives (e.g., Robotics Club, Science Olympiad).
- Technological Literacy: Utilize modern educational tools and software, such as data-logging interfaces, simulations (like PhET), and digital graphing tools.
