- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the Personal Care & Hygiene industry across assigned territories.
- Identify, qualify, and acquire new B2B customers through market mapping, prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry contacts.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, customer meetings, product presentations, sampling, commercial negotiations, order closure, and post-sales support.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, OEMs, converters, contract manufacturers, and brand owners.
- Develop annual sales plans, customer-wise business strategies, and territory growth plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Conduct technical and commercial presentations, demonstrating the value proposition of products and solutions to customers.
- Coordinate with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Technical Service teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
- Understand customer manufacturing processes and recommend suitable product solutions based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Drive new product development opportunities by identifying market gaps and gathering customer feedback.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies to formulate effective business strategies.
- Prepare sales forecasts, demand plans, business reports, and monthly MIS for management review.
- Handle customer complaints, quality issues, and commercial disputes in coordination with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, payment conditions, and annual business agreements.
- Maintain regular interaction with procurement, sourcing, R&D, quality, and plant teams at customer locations to strengthen business relationships.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
- Travel extensively across India for customer visits, business development activities, and market expansion.
- Represent the organization at national and international trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and industry seminars related to the Personal Care and Hygiene sector.
- Generate qualified business leads through exhibitions and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions with prospective customers during exhibitions.
- Build relationships with industry stakeholders, suppliers, consultants, and technology partners.
- Gather competitive intelligence and market insights through participation in industry events.
- Coordinate exhibition planning, booth management, promotional materials, and customer meetings before and during events.
- Experience in B2B Sales & Marketing within the Personal Care/Hygiene industry.
- Mandatory experience in handling customers from the Diaper, Sanitary Napkin, Panty Liner, Adult Incontinence, Wet Wipes, and Baby Care segments.
- Experience in selling products such as Hygiene Films, Topsheets, Backsheets, Nonwovens, Breathable Films, Packaging Materials, or other raw materials used in Personal Care products.
- Hands-on experience in Nonwoven Fibers and Nonwoven Fabrics used in hygiene applications.
- Strong exposure to business development, key account management, strategic selling, and customer relationship management.
- Experience in managing OEMs, converters, contract manufacturers, and large FMCG/personal care companies.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, product applications, and supply chain within the hygiene industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas, if required.
- Report directly to Senior Management and provide regular updates on sales performance, business development activities, key account status, sales forecasts, market intelligence, and strategic initiatives.
