Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Engineer to ensure that products, components, and manufacturing processes meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, quality documentation, root-cause analysis, process improvement, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Inspect components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, specifications, and tolerances.
- Verify dimensional accuracy and ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Quality Check Sheets, NCRs, CAPA, and other quality documents.
- Identify defects and deviations during production and coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for corrective actions.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using techniques such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
- Support implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to reduce rejection, rework, scrap, and customer complaints.
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and support inspection of new products/components.
- Follow applicable ISO, customer-specific, and industry quality standards.
- Coordinate with production teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports and communicate quality performance to management.
- Support continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
Technical Responsibilities
- Understanding of Engineering Drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of Dimensional Inspection and Measurement Techniques.
- Knowledge of Tolerance, Fits, Surface Roughness, and Geometrical Controls.
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures.
- Understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and process capability.
- Knowledge of CPK, PPK, MSA, Gauge R&R concepts.
- Familiarity with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, and 8D is an advantage.
- Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, RCA, and Corrective Action procedures.
- Ability to work with Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, Bore Gauge, and basic inspection equipment.
- Knowledge of CMM inspection is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of metrology and calibration systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related Engineering disciplines.
- 1–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Control / Manufacturing Quality.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
