We are looking for a Design Cum Production Engineer with hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing and retail interior fit-out projects. If you have a passion for transforming designs into high-quality manufactured products, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare production/shop drawings and manufacturing drawings
✔ Create BOQ, BOM & cutting lists
✔ Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams
✔ Ensure design feasibility and production accuracy
✔ Resolve shop-floor technical issues
✔ Optimize material utilization and reduce wastage
✔ Maintain drawing revisions and production documentation
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in Furniture Manufacturing / Retail Interior Fit-Out
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of SketchUp, SolidWorks (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and production coordination
