Job Title: Program Coordinator / Program Officer – Education Outreach

Qualification:
* Any bachleor's degree or Master's in Social Work (MSW) preferred
* Graduates with relevant experience in community outreach, education programs, or student support may also apply
Experience:
* 0–3 years of experience in social sector projects, educational programs, field coordination, or student engagement
* Fresh MSW graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support our education and scholarship initiatives. The role involves student outreach, coordination with schools and colleges, application management, verification activities, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining program records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and educational institutions.
* Conduct outreach activities to identify and enroll eligible students for educational support programs.
* Coordinate the distribution and collection of student applications.
* Conduct telephonic verification and background verification of applicants.
* Interact with students, parents, and institutional representatives to provide program-related guidance.
* Follow up on pending applications and verification requirements.
* Maintain accurate records and update tracking sheets regularly.
* Prepare progress reports and support program implementation activities.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications and student cases.
* Travel locally, as required, for field visits and stakeholder meetings.
Required Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Tamil and English preferred)
* Strong documentation and reporting skills
* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Sheets
* Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
* Good organizational and follow-up skills
* Attention to detail and data management capabilities
* Willingness to travel for fieldwork
Preferred Candidate Profile:
* Any Bachleor degree or MSW graduate with specialization in Community Development, Rural Development, or Social Work.
* Passionate about education, youth development, and social impact.
* Comfortable interacting with students, parents, schools, and colleges.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
