Electronics Component Quality Inspector / QC Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Inspector to perform incoming quality inspection of electronic components used for PCB assembly. The candidate will be responsible for checking components received from vendors and ensuring that they meet the required specifications, quality standards, and approved BOM requirements before being issued for production.
Key Responsibilities
· Inspect incoming electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, connectors, relays, LEDs, switches, transistors, sensors, and other PCB components.
· Verify components against the BOM, part number, manufacturer, specification, rating, package type, and quantity.
· Perform visual inspection for physical damage, corrosion, bent pins, broken terminals, marking/labeling issues, and packaging condition.
· Verify component values and ratings using appropriate measuring instruments such as multimeter, LCR meter, vernier caliper, etc.
· Check SMD and through-hole components before releasing them for PCB assembly.
· Verify incoming material against Purchase Order, supplier documents, datasheets, and approved specifications.
· Identify and segregate NG / rejected components and maintain proper rejection records.
· Maintain Incoming Quality Inspection (IQC) reports and inspection records.
· Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, and R&D teams regarding component quality issues.
· Raise NCR / rejection reports for non-conforming materials and coordinate with suppliers for corrective action.
· Ensure proper ESD handling and storage practices for sensitive electronic components.
· Support first-piece/sample inspection and component verification during new product development.
· Maintain records of supplier quality issues and support supplier quality improvement activities.
· Ensure that only approved and inspected components are released to the PCB assembly line.
Required Skills
· Basic knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly.
· Ability to read and understand BOM, datasheets, component markings, and specifications.
· Knowledge of SMD and through-hole components.
· Basic knowledge of electronic testing instruments such as multimeter and LCR meter.
· Good observation and inspection skills.
· Basic knowledge of ESD precautions and material handling.
· Good documentation and reporting skills.
Educational Qualification
· Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, or related field.
Experience
· 1–3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, incoming quality inspection, or component inspection will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
