Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Moodle PHP Developer responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) applications. The candidate should have strong PHP development skills and experience in Moodle customization, plugin development, integration, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Moodle LMS applications.
- Design and develop Moodle plugins, themes, blocks, and custom modules.
- Integrate Moodle with third-party applications, APIs, SSO, LDAP, and payment gateways.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Moodle performance and functionality issues.
- Perform Moodle upgrades, patches, and security updates.
- Optimize database queries and application performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PHP development.
- Hands-on experience with Moodle LMS customization and administration.
- Good knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB databases.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Understanding of Moodle APIs, plugin architecture, and web services.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux server environments and Apache/Nginx.
