Responsible for the end-to-end management of Cognex’s European vehicle fleet (~200 vehicles across 18+ countries), combining hands-on operations with ownership of cost, suppliers, policy, and performance. The role ensures the fleet is managed efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively, with strong financial control.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full vehicle lifecycle (order delivery in-life management return), including orders, renewals, returns, inspections, and damage handling

Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and fleet suppliers, managing all queries and issues

Maintain accurate fleet records, contracts, and vehicle data, ensuring alignment with financial and payroll systems

Manage relationships with leasing and rental providers (e.g. ALD Automotive, Arval), ensuring delivery in line with agreed terms and service levels

Own the review, validation, and approval of all fleet supplier invoices, ensuring:

Accuracy against contracted rates

Correct application of lease, damage, and service charges

Proper coding to cost centres and GL accounts

Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing and payment

Maintain and reconcile fleet cost data (leases, damages, usage), supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking

Identify cost trends and drive cost control and savings initiatives

Own and maintain the European Fleet Policy, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs

Ensure data accuracy and reporting on fleet cost, usage, and performance across countries
