Job Summary
WTT International is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Production Engineer to support the manufacturing and production activities of water and wastewater treatment equipment and systems. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in production planning, fabrication coordination, quality monitoring, and ensuring timely execution of manufacturing activities in line with company standards and project requirements. WTT specializes in innovative and sustainable water treatment technologies and has extensive experience in delivering projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of water treatment equipment and systems.
- Support production planning and ensure timely completion of fabrication activities.
- Monitor daily production activities and maintain production reports and records.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure production activities comply with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Supervise fabrication, assembly, and testing activities on the shop floor.
- Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage to improve productivity.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Support inspection and quality control activities before dispatch.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production status reports.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of mechanical drawings and engineering documents.
- Knowledge of production planning and inventory control.
- Familiarity with pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels, and water treatment equipment is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Diploma candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 0 to 3 years of experience in production, fabrication, or manufacturing industries.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
