- Staying Updated:Keeping abreast of new technologies and software to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.
- Integrating Technology:Collaborating with other teachers to incorporate technology into various subjects and create cross-curricular projects.
Technical and Management Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the Computer Lab:Ensuring the computer lab is clean, organized, and functional, and managing software updates and hardware maintenance.
- Troubleshooting:Providing technical support to students and staff members with computer issues.
- Providing Individualized Support:Offering extra help to students who need it, whether through tutoring or other means.
- Managing Student Behavior:Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment within the computer lab.
Administrative and Collaboration Responsibilities:
- Parent Communication:Meeting with parents to discuss student progress and any concerns.
- Staff Collaboration:Participating in staff meetings and collaborating with other teachers to develop lesson plans and projects.
- Professional Development:Attending workshops and conferences to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on new technologies.
- Curriculum Development:Contributing to the development and revision of the school's computer science curriculum.
