We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant/Associate to support ongoing research projects in area of Finance & Accounting.
The selected candidate will help faculty member in Research work for publications, Journals and other outlets (e.g. books). The RA will also assist in developing case studies. This position also prepares the candidate for admission to doctoral or equivalent programs at prestigious business schools worldwide, ultimately leading to careers in finance research at top-tier business schools or research organizations.
The position will involve the following responsibilities:
- Conduct research and compile relevant information from various academic and professional sources.
- Process, organize, and interpret data, ensuring clarity and thematic coherence.
- Prepare background materials as input to publication.
- Apply critical thinking to evaluate findings and assist in clear presentation of research outcomes, both written and visual formats.
- Other research related work
The initial appointment is for One Year, with the possibility of an extension up to two years, subject to performance appraisal.
- Chartered Accountancy (CA) or MBA (Finance) or M.Com from a reputed Institute.
- Proficiency in excel and any statistical package is expected.
- Knowledge of programming language Python or R is preferred.
- The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and absolute commitment to task completion.
