We are seeking a proactive and resourceful VMS Presales Executive to support business development and project delivery by sourcing vendors, freelancers, and specialized talent for AI data and technology projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sourcing platforms, vendor management, client coordination, and presales activities.
- Vendor & Freelancer Sourcing
- Source and onboard vendors, freelancers, and service providers for AI data collection, annotation, transcription, localization, and technology-related projects.
- Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, sourcing portals, freelancer communities, and professional networks.
- Build and maintain a strong database of global vendors and freelance resources.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, pricing, quality standards, and delivery capacity.
- Presales Support
- Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to understand client requirements.
- Identify suitable vendor and resource solutions based on project scope and timelines.
- Support proposal preparation, resource planning, costing, and solution development.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely submission of client requirements.
- Client Interaction
- Participate in client discussions to understand project needs and resource requirements.
- Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, vendor availability, and project readiness.
- Support RFPs, RFQs, and vendor-related client inquiries.
- Vendor Management
- Negotiate commercial terms, timelines, and deliverables with vendors and freelancers.
- Maintain vendor documentation, contracts, and compliance records.
- Track vendor performance and ensure service quality standards are met.
- Experience in vendor sourcing, recruitment, staffing, presales, or resource management.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, Upwork, freelancer marketplaces, and sourcing portals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with clients and external partners.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
- 2–5 years of experience in vendor management, staffing, presales, recruitment, or outsourcing operations.
- Experience supporting US/UK clients will be an added advantage.
