Assistant Merchandiser – Handicrafts (Hardgoods)

Exmart International is a handicrafts, home décor and lifestyle export house. We're hiring an Assistant Merchandiser for our handicrafts (hardgoods), someone who can run between buyers, vendors, and production floors without dropping a single sample.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Coordinating with international buyers on order specs, approvals, and timelines
- Working with vendors and karigars to develop samples for hardgoods categories (metal, wood, marble. felt, ceramic, or similar)
- Tracking orders from development through shipment, chasing what needs chasing
- Preparing costing sheets, TNA calendars, and order status reports
- Visiting vendor units to check production progress and catch quality issues early
- Escalating delays or spec deviations before they turn into buyer complaints
What we're looking for:
- 2-4 years in merchandising, ideally in handicrafts, home décor, or hardgoods exports
- Solid with Excel trackers and costing sheets are a daily thing here
- Someone who can hold a vendor accountable and keep a buyer calm, sometimes in the same hour
- Sharp with detail; one missed spec in this business can cost a shipment
- Based in Delhi NCR or open to relocating; the role sits in East of Kailash
