CNC Lathe Programmer – Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer with strong engineering drawing interpretation skills and hands-on experience in CNC programming. The candidate should be capable of creating efficient machining programs, optimizing production processes, and ensuring high precision manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify CNC Lathe programs for production components
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances accurately
- Prepare machining processes and select suitable cutting tools and parameters
- Program CNC machines using software such as Mastercam, SprutCAM, or similar CAM software
- Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity and reduce machining time
- Perform trial runs and troubleshoot programming or machining issues
- Coordinate with machine operators and production teams for smooth execution
- Ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy of machined parts
- Maintain program documentation and machining records
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC Lathe programming
- Thorough understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience with Mastercam, SprutCAM, or other CAM programming software
- Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and machining operations
- Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Good understanding of production and manufacturing processes
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience in VMC/CNC machining environment
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
- Process optimization and cycle time reduction
- Ability to handle production independently
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC Lathe Programming required.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
