Job Title: Financial Counsellor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Financial Counsellor to assist patients and their families in understanding healthcare costs, insurance coverage, payment options, and financial assistance programs. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a hospital setting and possess strong communication and counselling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment estimates, hospitalization expenses, and payment options.
- Explain insurance policies, cashless approvals, reimbursement processes, and financial obligations.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, billing, and clinical teams for smooth patient service.
- Assist patients in completing financial documentation and insurance-related formalities.
- Provide information on available financial assistance schemes and payment plans.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Address patient queries related to billing, insurance, and financial processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
- Graduate in any discipline; additional qualifications in Healthcare Management will be preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Counsellor, Patient Counsellor, or similar role in a hospital.
- Good understanding of hospital billing, insurance, TPAs, and patient financial services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
