Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in data processing, ETL/ELT, databases, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
- Collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data.
- Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and reliability.
- Work with large datasets using distributed data processing frameworks.
- Optimize database queries and data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance.
- Automate data workflows and improve data infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline development.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming and processing.
- Familiarity with DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
