Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced PGT Mathematics teacher to teach students from Grades IX to XII under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong mathematical and analytical skills, be capable of simplifying complex concepts, and inspire students to develop logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to Grades IX–XII in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and assessment materials.
- Focus on conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and advanced problem-solving techniques.
- Conduct regular tests, assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Provide academic support through doubt-clearing sessions and remedial classes.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations and provide foundational guidance for competitive exams such as JEE.
- Encourage critical thinking and application-based learning.
- Maintain student records, academic reports, and progress documentation.
- Participate in parent interactions and academic review meetings.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members for curriculum planning and execution.
- Contribute to school activities, mentoring, and overall student development.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. / M.A. in Mathematics (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. (Preferred / Mandatory as per CBSE norms)
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in secondary/senior secondary classes.
- Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum is highly preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Mathematics.
- Excellent analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Effective communication skills (English mandatory; Kannada is an advantage).
- Student-centric teaching methodology.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and modern classroom technology.
