Job Summary
The Service Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales business for commercial kitchen equipment, including annual maintenance contracts, spare parts sales, repairs, equipment upgrades, additional equipment sales and service solutions. The role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, increasing service revenue, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through timely and effective support.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate service sales revenue through AMC/CMC contracts, repairs, spare parts, refurbishment, equipment upgrades / additional equipment requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, canteens, catering units, cloud kitchens, and institutional kitchens.
- Visit existing and potential customers to promote after-sales service solutions.
- Prepare service proposals, quotations, and contract renewals.
- Follow up on enquiries, pending quotations, and payment collections.
- Coordinate with service engineers and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of service commitments for repeat business.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analyze installed equipment base and develop strategies to increase service contract coverage.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for service business.
- Monitor competitor service offerings and market trends.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, contracts, complaints, and service opportunities.
- Support clients with preventive maintenance planning and recommend suitable service packages.
- Work closely with spare parts and technical teams to ensure timely support and availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Hospitality Equipment, Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in service sales, after-sales support, or technical sales, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment or related food service equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, cooking ranges, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, combi ovens, preparation equipment, bakery equipment, cold rooms, Ice cube machines etc
- Good understanding of AMC, spare parts, breakdown service, and maintenance planning.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and customer handling skills.
- Ability to prepare quotations, contracts, and service proposals.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and site meetings.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
